 "I am writing to share a very special set of experiences I have had with Maria Elisavetsky, realtor, from Maria Home Connection and Rodeo Realty Fine Estates.

She assisted me with the sale of a home in Eagle Rock my son and his family lived in, the purchase of a new location for them in Pasadena, and… the sale of a condo in Marina del Rey that we used as a 2nd home getaway.

All of this "descended" upon us in a parallel period of time, and the process of each of them had many moving parts.

In the past, very often, in the "Real Estate World"… a little like the retail automotive business, I had experiences which were aggressive and competitive… it comes with the territory.

Maria is like an" indefatigable spirit" from a different place-to-be.  There is no hype, aggression, impatience etc etc.

When Maria works for a client… there is nothing she will not respond to help everything happen in the best way. It didn't take long for me to feel like I had a "best friend" working with me.  Anything that came up, even out of left field, was responded to as if it were only the normal part of her work…

To begin with, Maria was "beyond comprehensive" in assessing each of the marketplaces… giving me a complete sense of the market value of each property, the history of each of their marketplaces, and her projected "sense of things" in figuring out a marketing or buying strategy for each. As you might suspect, this was enormously complicated by the presence of COVID-19.

In each transaction, I felt that we had achieved the best goal we could, and… every complexity that "showed up" (some completely unexpected) was handled like it was just another thing to do.

Additionally, all the people that Maria invited to the process, Wendy Cox (Office Manager, Rodeo Realty), Encore Escrow & Michelle Sandoval… her recommendations for inspections, repairs and every other third-party person involved were also ideal choices.

“After owning my home for 42 years, my hope was to sell my house and lease it back from the buyer for a year or two. Everyone told me I’d never find such a deal in a hot market like the San Fernando Valley, but Maria Elisavetsky took on the challenge and put together a strategy to find the right buyer. Because of Maria’s interior design background, she was able to creatively stage the house on a very small budget after repairs, painting, and general updating were completed. The house was then listed and quickly attracted 5 offers, one of which was a developer who was willing to lease back to me for 24 months. From the initial listing to the close of escrow took 9 weeks, and the entire sales process was amazingly linear. I got very close to my asking price and am now in the third month of my leaseback contract. I couldn’t ask for a better sales result.
